The use of Marijuana is quite controversial in this dispensation. The issue of contention is the moral and health stance of different individuals and society. Several people have stated that using the drug as a means of procreation is beneficial, but in many cases culminates into contracting an addiction to cannabis. The most notable repercussion of this is the eventual indulgence in other hard drugs such as heroin and cocaine. However, others opine that the moral and health implications are reprehensible. Despite the positive effects such as pain alleviation, and increasing appetite for cancer patients, Marijuana should be censured and not accorded any form of legalization given that it has wrecked countless lives distinctly the youths.
Regardless of the stand that Marijuana has adverse effects, some people with dissenting views claim that marijuana is beneficial to their lives and particularly the elderly. Geriatrics and specific people suffering from diseases such as cancer are allowed to take the drug and thus advocate for its ratification. Some of the younger individuals tasked with the responsibility of procuring and administering cannabis to the elderly are noble and ethical as to provide the required dosage to the patients as a form of pain therapy and in the reduction of Nausea as well as improving appetite (Hill & Marion, 2019).   
However, most of the young people delegated to purchase medical marijuana abuse it. The loophole should be dealt with through rigorous regulation stipulating that only persons bearing the required medical documents can access marijuana. Moreover, the individuals in possession of the documents should only access the medication when being administered by medical practitioners. The use of marijuana is cataclysmic, and it is vital to engage in critical management of the people that handle it in all capacities. The legalization of marijuana is supposed to be limited to facilities and institutions carrying out chemotherapy.
